No pressure but you guys should really communicate something. I really appreciate what you're doing but putting out cards to Amiga 'influencers' - TBTorro, Dan Wood, 'RETROCENGO', ChuckyGang, Stephen Jones and Károly Balogh for instance (more?) is nice to get some insight in the workings and build quality of the card. Cheers for that. But the sparse communication from you guys is not really helping. Maybe give us some insight in the things you struggle with. Or the order process etc. Ofcourse it's a two man job and time isn't abundant but three months no output and cards pop-up on the internet makes me wondering. Thanks again for the great stuff

Hi, everything ok, thanks for asking :) We have a lot of work with ours (and company's) mainly tasks now - unfortunatelly... We're (slowly :( ) preparing a new batch of Warp boards to the customers which already sent CPU's to us. I wish to have more time for this project. It is really very important to me, but I have to care about the company buisiness first, otherwise we'll end without ability to do anything.
Anyway, we're preparing online ordering system and new website. This has not enough flexibility for online shop. We switched to wordpress, but there is still some work to do to make new webpage visible on this address. Stay tuned, we're alive and working to make warp boards available for you guys. I know that is taking a long time, but what can I say.. sorry, and trust me, if I could afford that, the Warp project would be my priority project. Cheers!

Hey Guys,

First Hope you are all well!

The Question that i have are: is it possible to send just the Card unsoldered without the CPU ?
I want to solder it by myself, if this are possible?
So thanks anyway with best regards,

Roland A.

I was wondering the same. I totally understand CS wants to maximize their influence on the process because of the possible influx of faulty boards due to wrong soldering etc. But then again they could label a few well known names in the community as trusted party. Take Chucky, TBToro (if he wants), Or check this list http://www.robthenerd.com/amiga/repairers I'm not so keen in sending my 060 rev6 to Poland tbh. Nothing wrong with Poland ofcourse but the thought putting that thing on the mail - even in my own country is not very appealing to me.

Yeah, for understanding: It just should be possible to buy a Card without CPU - For self mounting / soldering peoples.. dont really like to send mine CPU around for this just to let insert / solder it into a Socket, what i can do easy by myself :)
For the Price i dont know if it will lowering it cos to send just a empty card to anyone ?

And Gurantee for selfmounting: there shouldn't be any due to personal responsibility

Its fair i think, and CS Lab can produce Cards without to concentrate for soldering Stuff for the "Selfmaker-Line" :)
If it would me possible to do this, so please Contact me on my EMail Adress, i would buy one Card if any is avaiable!

Its just my 2 Cents, best regards!

Which telephone number should be used on the parcel when sending in processors?

OK, I see 4060 cards even one for the CDTV. Great stuff all in all. BUT why is there NO info on this website. Is there a secret convention where this info is being shared with Amiga 'influencers' that already had their 1260 distributed? Or is it posted on FakeBook or something? Tbh, I have a 060 waiting to be shipped and all I see developments (very nice) but no INFO here. Is that weird or weird? Could you please use this platform to inform people? Thanks and keep up the good work :)

@ André: FWIW, I'm doing what I can as a fellow Warp enthusiast to 'stitch together' info on the cards; the page URL is on my website.

@ Greg Hi m8, I know your website from the excellent ZZ info. Top notch work! How very nice of you to do that for this project as well. THANKS! :)

@ André: Thanks! :) If they were willing, I would love to help CS-Lab beta test the 3060/4060 cards and driver software in both my A3000 and A4000 (esp. with OS 3.2 as I do proofreading for that project), but I suspect they may already have enough testers? I do have a rev. 6 '060 ready to go...

Hello,

two reason for me to type this message:

1. to let you know there is another freak who could not afford extending his Amigas (500 and 1200) when they were rocking the World, but is still crazy enough to see them flying again with the WARP (well, the 1200 at least) and capable (now) of tricking his beloved Wife (BTW: the same lovely Wife who let me buy those Amigas years ago) to allow me to spend the money on Amiga AGAIN. Well, being faithful ( both to your Wife and your Amiga) should be prized, wpoludn't you agree?

2. To say to you both, GREAT GUYS, THANK you for what you are doing.

Waiting for the chance to buy WARP 1260,

Najlepszego i powodzenia,

Wiktor.
