Description
Automatic Video Source Switch for WarpedVision
The automatic switch is a dedicated electronic module designed for Amiga 500 and Amiga 1200 computers equipped with the PiStorm Lite expansion.
This solution integrates the Amiga’s native video with the RTG signal, converted to HDMI by the WarpedVision Scandoubler.
How does it work?
• The native digital signal of the Amiga is converted to HDMI by WarpedVision.
• WarpedVision features a control input that selects the active HDMI source.
• A special add-on for the CIA 8520 chip generates the switching signal.
• The switch module can operate in different control modes – SEL, CTS, RTS, or DTR – selectable via a jumper on the board.
• Software configuration is limited to setting the control line parameter in the graphics driver icon, for example:
• VC4_SWITCH_METHOD=SEL
which corresponds to using the SEL signal as the control source.
Product versions:
• Switch for Amiga 500 + WarpedVision for Amiga 500
• Switch for Amiga 1200 + WarpedVision for Amiga 1200
Key features:

🖥️ Dedicated versions for Amiga 500 and Amiga 1200.
🎛️ Control signal selection (SEL / CTS / RTS / DTR) – hardware (jumper) or software.
🔌 Easy installation, minimal driver configuration.
Applications:
The module is designed for Amiga users who work with both classic PAL/NTSC modes and RTG graphics.
